Role overview
This Graduate RF Engineer position in Sedgefield offers practical experience throughout the product lifecycle. The role begins with design and modeling, moves through prototyping and testing, and extends into production. New graduates join a collaborative team, learning directly from experienced RF engineers. The position is part of an 18–24 month structured development program designed to support early career growth in RF engineering.
What you will do
- Work on all stages of product development, from client discussions and requirements analysis to design, build, testing, and production support.
- Develop expertise in RF and mmWave circuit design, working with frequencies up to 200 GHz.
- Contribute to the design of both active and passive RF systems, including solid-state power amplifiers and radio transceiver systems.
- Use advanced modeling and simulation tools to support hardware development.
- Gain laboratory experience in RF measurement, hardware development, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in designing and implementing modules and components for telecommunications systems used by global companies.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, partners, and customers.
- Prepare technical documentation and communicate findings to peers and stakeholders.
- Experience real product lifecycles in modern clean rooms and production facilities.
