Key Responsibilities:Oversee PCBA manufacturing processes for Starlink hardware. Manage the introduction of new PCBA assemblies, including equipment qualification, line layout design, tooling design, collaboration with design engineers, and providing design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback. Streamline, automate, and enhance high-reliability manufacturing processes to empower production teams to operate independently from engineering. Analyze trends to identify opportunities for optimizing output, improving quality, and reducing manufacturing costs. Lead the volume production processes for PCBA, including execution management, nonconforming product management, configuration management, traceability tracking, yield improvement, and process control. Oversee the creation of work instructions, maintain process documentation, and conduct process training. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, materials science, manufacturing engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in manufacturing process engineering, surface mount technology (SMT), accelerated testing, design for reliability, or PCB design and layout. Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience in high-volume production (e.g., consumer goods, automotive) or ramping a production line within a cross-functional team. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and quality control.
