YOUR MISSION
As the Head of Ads Monetization at Glovo, you will spearhead the advancement of our advertising business, transforming it from a high-potential unit into a strategically sound, scalable, and profitable enterprise. You will lead a dynamic, cross-functional team, forge impactful partnerships with media agencies and global brands, and redefine how advertisers connect with Glovo's distinctive ecosystem.
Your role will involve not just execution but the development of the business model, partnerships, and organizational framework necessary for Glovo to become a benchmark in retail and brand media.
THE JOURNEY
- Build and Scale the Brand Ads Business:
Craft a long-term commercial and operational strategy to ensure that Glovo's Brand Ads becomes a sustainable and lucrative business vertical. Define the go-to-market approach, pricing structure, and commercial narrative to position Glovo as a pivotal player in Retail Media.
- Develop Strategic Agency Partnerships:
Oversee relationships with elite media agencies and holding companies, shaping multi-year collaborative business plans. Establish frameworks for agency cooperation, measurement, and accountability for performance.
- Build Strategic FMCG Partnerships with Global & Local Brands:
Foster and maintain senior-level partnerships with leading FMCG companies and emerging local brands, developing joint business plans that enhance their visibility and performance within Glovo's ecosystem. Facilitate collaboration across marketing, data, and category teams to drive integrated growth initiatives.
- Own the P&L and Growth Strategy:
Take responsibility for Brand Ads revenue, profit margins, and investment prioritization. Identify and capitalize on new monetization opportunities through brand partnerships and innovative advertising formats.
- Drive Excellence in Execution:
Ensure the flawless execution of media campaigns (both endemic and non-endemic), delivering measurable impact for advertisers. Transform data and insights into strategic actions that enhance client retention.
- Shape a High-Performing Team:
Recruit and develop a team of brand media specialists, strategic planners, and account leads. Facilitate strong collaboration with local commercial teams and HQ stakeholders to embed media strategies across Glovo's commercial framework.
- Be a Voice for Advertising in Glovo:
Collaborate with product, data, and central media teams to influence roadmap priorities, product innovations, and measurement frameworks that enable scalable media performance.
