Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and draft comprehensive responses for various post-conviction motions.
- Prepare detailed memoranda on legal questions for direct appeals and pretrial motions in federal court cases.
- Examine, prepare, and process a wide array of complex legal documents, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Collaborate with client attorneys in assembling trial notebooks, jury instructions, and witness lists.
- Utilize both original and online legal resources to verify citations and ensure accuracy in legal documents.
- Draft original correspondence that requires a solid understanding of legal and administrative procedures.
- Produce a variety of documents using advanced office software applications.
