In this pivotal role, reporting to the COMPASS Deputy Director, the Program Manager will oversee more than 25 sites and will be responsible for the following key functions: - Monitor and evaluate the performance of Community-Based Organization (CBO) COMPASS contractors. - Review and approve program plans to ensure alignment with COMPASS objectives. - Conduct site visits during late afternoon and evening hours to assess program effectiveness. - Provide technical assistance and implement corrective actions for underperforming CBO contractors. - Engage in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms. - Enhance knowledge of COMPASS sites by offering technical assistance and sharing resources to elevate program quality. - Guide contractors through the development phases of their contracts. - Analyze contract performance reports and agency fiscal documents to guarantee compliance. - Train CBOs on DYCD CONNECT, our innovative web-based program management system. - Prepare summary reports for higher management with actionable recommendations for program improvement. - Undertake additional projects and tasks as necessary to support the COMPASS unit and its mission.
