You will dive into our data platform, tackling complexities in data pipelines, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing system performance and scalability. As a core team member, you will oversee the data platform's infrastructure, ensuring continuous monitoring and optimization of pipelines, queries, and databases for peak performance and availability.On a daily basis, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data ingestion and ETL pipelines using SQL and Python, with a commitment to high data quality, integrity, and minimal latency. You will also play a pivotal role in governance and standardization, advocating for best coding practices while contributing to the development of our data foundations, analytics, and data science initiatives. Collaborating on data catalogs and access controls will ensure that all data processes meet stringent accuracy, privacy, security, and compliance standards.As a key collaborator, you will establish Data Contracts across multiple Domain Data Units and optimize workflows among various stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and refine data models tailored for our DataMesh environment.Manage and optimize the data platform's infrastructure components, enhancing performance and availability.Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using SQL and Python, ensuring superior data quality and low latency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and enhance data models in a DataMesh setting.Engage in data cataloging and access control to ensure compliance with data accuracy, privacy, and security standards.Develop foundational data products for analytics teams, troubleshoot data quality issues, and support the BI toolbox.Be a part of transforming the quick commerce landscape.
