Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely sampling, testing, and documentation of incoming samples including raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates, and finished products using both wet and instrumental methods.
- Analyze all incoming samples in accordance with approved specifications and standard testing procedures.
- Test and report on raw material vendor samples as per established testing protocols and specifications.
- Evaluate and report on stability samples following individual approved testing procedures and specifications.
- Prepare, qualify, and maintain working standards according to product specifications.
- Test and report validation samples as specified in protocols.
- Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions in line with standard operating procedures.
- Prepare general reagents/test solutions, indicators, buffers, and mobile phases as per relevant monograph procedures and in-house specifications.
- Promptly raise indents for lab chemicals, consumables, and miscellaneous items.
- Receive and ensure proper storage and maintenance of newly procured and in-use chemicals.
- Ensure appropriate storage and maintenance of reference standards, primary standards, and chemical standards.
- Log entries for usage records, registers, and all documents immediately after the analysis.
- Calibrate instruments, equipment, and glassware following approved standard operations and calibration procedures.
- Maintain samples under analysis as per requirements.
- Record temperature and humidity in the quality control laboratory area according to approved standard operating procedures.
