Acumen is on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Impact Manager with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to spearhead Reporting, Data, and Analytics initiatives at a regional level. This role is pivotal in driving a transformative business and economic empowerment program across Africa, with a particular emphasis on uplifting young women.
This position will be based in Acumen's Nairobi or Lagos office, with a requirement to work in the office three days a week. Remote work from other locations is not an option.

About the Role
As the Impact Manager: Reporting, Data, and Analytics, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the technological solutions necessary for our programmatic Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework. This may involve adapting existing tools such as Salesforce and Google Sheets or identifying new technology solutions to ensure a robust and efficient platform for routine reporting on key data points. The role will emphasize ongoing improvements in system and data management as well as reporting. Candidates should exhibit a high degree of technical proficiency with data and software solutions, alongside a growing familiarity with AI applications.
You will collaborate closely with the Impact Manager: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning, who will focus on the design and implementation of the MEL framework and adaptive learning methodologies.
Additionally, you will liaise with other Impact & Insight team members based in the UK and various locations in East and West Africa.
Occasional travel within the region is expected.
Key Responsibilities Include:
