Role Overview
We are seeking an Implementation Manager to join our New York office. In this pivotal role, you will oversee customer onboarding and expedite value realization for our clients following the sales process. You will collaborate closely with customer success, product, and engineering teams to ensure our clients are effectively launched on the Mandrel platform and derive benefits promptly and consistently.
This position is perfect for individuals who excel in dynamic startup settings, embrace uncertainty, and are eager to shape and elevate a top-tier implementation function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end implementations for 10–15 clients simultaneously, dedicating your full focus to ensure timely and successful project launches.
Gain an in-depth understanding of each client’s operations, systems, and data flows to refine implementation strategies and shorten time-to-value.
Lead implementation projects from initiation to go-live, including gathering requirements, configuring systems, integrating technologies, conducting testing, and overseeing launch activities.
Analyze customer technology stacks (ERP, accounting systems, commerce platforms, EDIs, WMS, IMS, BI tools) and assist clients with technical setup and integration procedures.
Document and map processes, vendors, and documentation flows relevant to client accounting and finance operations.
Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the implementation process, managing expectations, ensuring accountability, and sustaining project momentum.
Advocate for client needs internally by effectively communicating requirements, risks, and trade-offs to product and engineering teams.
Exercise confidence in pushing back on unrealistic or out-of-scope demands while preserving trust and alignment with client stakeholders.
Identify trends across implementations to develop a standardized, scalable implementation playbook as Mandrel grows.
Collaborate closely with sales, solutions, product, and engineering teams to enhance the overall implementation experience.
