BLITS 3.0 Program Overview:
This role is integral to supporting the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) in securing vital information and information systems. You will contribute to mission success by ensuring effective service delivery and maintaining necessary infrastructure and capabilities. As part of the broader Air Force Information Network (AFIN) enterprise, the 66 ABG Communications and Information Division (66 ABG/SC) is responsible for direct and indirect actions that support both Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) and geographically separated units (GSUs). Successful candidates will demonstrate strengths in integration, flexibility, AFIN knowledge, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policies.
• Conduct network security analysis in accordance with ICD 503, DCID 6/3 Appendix E, DITSCAP, DIACAP, JSIG, and/or NISPOM Chapter 8; provide guidance on IT certification and accreditation.
• Perform risk assessments and deliver actionable recommendations to clients.
• Advise government program managers on security testing methodologies and processes; assess certification documentation and present written recommendations for accreditation.
• Regularly review system security to align with evolving policies and technologies; establish and maintain a formal Information Systems Security Program.
