Join FIJI Water as a Process Operator and play a crucial role in driving operational excellence within our Injection Molding department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficiency of equipment, maintain top-notch product quality, and adhere to safety standards to achieve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) targets aligned with our company's renowned standards.
- Operate and maintain Injection Molding machinery, including Husky Preform and Closure machines, as well as forklifts, following established work instructions and manufacturer specifications to guarantee optimal performance and superior product quality.
- Adapt to varying equipment operations to facilitate seamless production processes within the Injection Molding department.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges and equipment malfunctions, performing basic maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Shift or Reliability Technicians for timely resolution.
- Support FIJI Water's commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability by following standard processes, SKU requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Actively engage in team learning sessions, suggest efficiency enhancements, and participate in problem-solving initiatives to boost operational performance.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, including operational documentation and daily reporting, to ensure compliance and accurate data tracking.
- Conduct Autonomous Maintenance Checks (AM) and apply daily management practices such as center lining, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and defect handling.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure the highest product standards are met.
- Utilize Just-in-Time (JIT) methods with scan guns for material consumption.
- Contribute to organizational quality compliance and environmental initiatives across the site.
