Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of molding processes, tooling, and semi-automatic equipment. Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Equipment Operation: Proficient in the safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts. Teamwork & Independence: Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment as well as independently. Quality Assurance: Experienced in using precision measurement tools to uphold stringent quality standards. Additional Strengths: Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing production needs.

Job Summary

As a Process Technician at Ambaflex, you will be instrumental in the setup, monitoring, and optimization of injection molding processes, ensuring that production runs smoothly and parts meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will extend beyond molding operations to include packaging, operating semi-automated assembly equipment, and troubleshooting machinery to fulfill production requirements. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will engage in a variety of tasks typically separated in conventional manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and initiate injection molding machines in accordance with production schedules.

  • Monitor and modify process parameters to uphold product quality and process efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot issues with molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and tooling.

  • Conduct routine inspections and execute preventive maintenance as required.

  • Document process adjustments and maintain precise production records.

  • Operate and resolve issues with the semi-automatic “click-machine” for chain assembly as per specifications.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing scrap and enhancing cycle times.

Available Shifts:

  • 5:00am-5:30pm Friday-Sunday

  • 10:30pm-7:00am Monday-Friday
