The Role

As an Inside Solutions Engineer, you will partner with sales representatives and stakeholders to effectively demonstrate the value of BeyondTrust’s innovative products, services, and solutions. Acting as a technical expert throughout the sales process, you will provide essential support that showcases the robust capabilities of the BeyondTrust suite. This position is perfect for individuals eager to expand their technical knowledge and customer interaction skills in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in executing marketing strategies, including webinars and product showcases.
  • Support lead qualification efforts by assessing technical environments and understanding business challenges.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI submissions, ensuring they are accurate and timely.
  • Engage in discovery and opportunity development by performing background research, asking qualifying questions, and grasping customer requirements.
  • Communicate the business value of BeyondTrust solutions to potential clients.
  • Demonstrate how BeyondTrust solutions effectively resolve customer challenges and fulfill the value proposition.
  • Assist in crafting written proposals to supplement financial proposals for prospects.
  • Play a crucial role in achieving technical success for opportunities by convincingly presenting solutions and value.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, including roles in help desk and/or technical support for applications, server infrastructure, desktops, virtualization, and directories.
  • Solid understanding of common operating systems and network architectures.
  • Familiarity with foundational security concepts and practices.
  • Adept at assessing technical requirements and providing suitable recommendations.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented sales environment.
  • Comfort in delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Possession of Security+, Network+, or similar industry certifications.

Nice To Have

  • Pre-sales experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Basic working knowledge of Linux systems is a plus.
