Role Overview
As the Integrated Operations Manager in Japan, you will be the backbone of ai&, ensuring seamless operations. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the back office by setting up the essential systems, tools, and processes that every team relies on.
This role is central to our organization, requiring daily collaboration with engineering, product, finance, infrastructure, and HR teams to ensure that our operational framework is robust, responsive, and proactive in meeting business needs. You will be directly involved in establishing IT infrastructure, liaising with general affairs, and supporting the finance team with operational aspects of accounting and approvals. Additionally, you will engage closely with our product and engineering teams to provide necessary operational support, acting as a bridge between the back office and technical facets of the business.
Ultimately, you will significantly influence how ai& leverages its technology internally, integrating agentic and AI-driven workflows into our operations wherever manual processes are currently in place. Our back office should exemplify the technology we develop.
Responsibilities
Approval Flows & Workflow Automation , Design and implement the approval and operational workflows critical to our company operations, including purchase approvals, expense sign-offs, vendor onboarding, and internal requests. Strive to create these processes as agentic and AI-enhanced wherever feasible using ai&'s proprietary tools.
Agentic Process Development , Continuously enhance operational processes by identifying areas where technology can improve efficiency and effectiveness.
