Since our inception in 2013, we have successfully raised over $1 billion from esteemed investors including Sam Altman, Mithril, and Capricorn Investment Group, along with new partners such as SoftBank and Lightspeed, to accelerate our advancements. Our latest prototype, Trenta, has already achieved remarkable milestones with 10,000 high-power pulses and plasma temperatures soaring to 100 million degrees Celsius (9 keV). Currently, we are advancing with Polaris, our next prototype on our journey to the first fusion power plant.

Now is a crucial moment to join Helion. You will engage in real-world challenges alongside a team that values urgency, precision, accountability, and a commitment to transparency — principles that are vital to accomplishing what has never been achieved before. Together, we will transform the future of energy because the world cannot afford to wait.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration sequence and oversee daily assembly operations across generator subsystems, including vacuum systems, electromagnets, high-voltage capacitor systems, controls, diagnostics, and radiation safety.

  • Define, plan, and execute integrated subsystem tests in collaboration with various subsystem owners.
  • Conduct build completion reviews to ensure operational readiness and testing preparedness.
  • Collaborate with production, testing, and engineering teams to enhance integration and build processes.
  • Draft work instructions for technician teams to facilitate both standard builds and the resolution of non-conformances.
  • Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions during the integration and build phases.
  • Develop strategies for hardware upgrades, replacements, and integration improvements to maximize operational uptime.
