Join Pollo Regio as an IT Field Technician in Grand Prairie, TX! We are seeking a skilled, hands-on technician to establish a strong partnership with our team. This role involves executing short-distance cable runs, troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, and installing new technology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and a proactive attitude. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing computer systems and networks. A solid understanding of computer systems and network operations is essential. You will work diligently to resolve issues, ensuring complete functionality before closing each service ticket. This position requires spending the majority of your time in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present a clean and professional appearance in all environments.
- Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, printers, and related hardware.
- Troubleshoot issues with computer systems, including hardware, software, email, network, and printer-related problems, making necessary repairs.
- Perform cable runs and terminate connections for network, audio, and video cables when required.
- Serve as a technical resource, assisting users with equipment and data issues, and staffing a central help desk for information exchange.
- Administer all IT hardware, including computers, printers, drive-thru systems, switches, routers, and other networking equipment.
- Apply software patches and upgrades while responding to user requests promptly.
