At Schuberg Philis, you won't just be another ticket number in a queue. Instead, you'll be a vital member of a small, agile team responsible for an essential platform from start to finish. We design, build, and maintain Linux-based systems that operate in critical environments: factories, storage facilities, and other industrial sites where downtime has real consequences.
We are seeking an IT-OT Linux Engineer who thrives on hands-on work with Linux. Your role will involve creating robust platform images, ensuring systems are reliable with immutable deployments, and guaranteeing that services start, stop, and recover as intended. Your primary focus will be on Linux systems deployed at the edge, and while experience with AWS is a plus, it is particularly beneficial if you enjoy linking these systems to the cloud with services like AWS IoT and AWS IoT Greengrass. You'll play a key role in shaping how we develop and manage these platforms, from versioning and deploying images to monitoring remote sites with unstable 4G connections and containerizing applications on resource-limited devices. You'll be close to both the technology and the impact it creates.
