Key ResponsibilitiesEngage daily with current and potential clients through phone and in-person interactions.Request medical records from providers and maintain communication with clients during treatment.Gather necessary documentation to substantiate injury and liability claims.Coordinate with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain records and account balances.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and reduce outstanding medical balances with providers.Collaborate with team members involved in case management and support.Keep case files well-organized and up-to-date.Prepare detailed demands and compile supporting documents for submission to insurance carriers.Present case summaries to attorneys as needed.Oversee case files from intake to closure under attorney guidance.Perform other related duties as assigned to support business needs.QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred.Experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is a plus.A minimum of 2 years in a legal or insurance adjusting role is desirable.Strong negotiation skills.Ability to work collaboratively and adhere to procedures.Proactive client interaction with insurance companies and medical providers.Excellent multitasking abilities with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.Highly organized, capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
