Discover more at www.catalyx.ai.The Role:We are seeking a Computer Systems Validation (CSV) Engineer with a robust focus on Lab IT Systems to ensure the validation of laboratory software and instrumentation in a regulated environment. This position bridges the gap between IT infrastructure and laboratory systems, ensuring lab applications, instruments, and their underlying systems meet validation and compliance standards.In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with IT, Quality Assurance, Laboratory Operations, and Automation teams to guarantee that all laboratory systems are implemented, validated, and maintained according to regulatory mandates and internal standards. A strong technical understanding of both IT systems and lab applications is essential for success.Responsibilities:Lead and conduct Computer Systems Validation activities for Lab IT Systems, encompassing laboratory software, instruments, and integrated platforms.Create, review, and approve validation documentation, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ), ensuring alignment with lab systems and supporting IT infrastructure.Validate laboratory systems like LIMS, CDS, ELN, and other GxP-compliant applications, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.Assist in system installation, configuration, and qualification activities within lab environments, including software for instruments and connected systems.Conduct risk assessments related to lab system architecture, data integrity, and system interfaces.Work closely with IT teams on system builds, upgrades, patches, and deployments affecting lab systems to ensure a validated state is maintained.Troubleshoot validation and system issues associated with laboratory applications and IT systems.
