We envision an America that fulfills its promise of freedom and equality for every individual.The Director of Equity, People, Inclusion, and Culture (EPIC) is responsible for leading the organization's strategy to foster an equitable, supportive, and high-performing workplace at Working Families Party and Working Families Power. This role is pivotal in shaping our recruitment, development, support, and retention strategies, ensuring that every team member feels connected, valued, and aligned with our mission of empowering working-class individuals from all backgrounds.This position aims to elevate management standards across the organization, instilling a culture of high expectations, constructive feedback, effective listening, and clear guidance.The EPIC Director collaborates closely with senior leadership as a trusted advisor on matters of people and culture, aligning our operational practices with our core values and objectives. This role is essential in enhancing communication and engagement across the organization, ensuring all staff are aware of our priorities and progress.The EPIC Director also maintains a strong partnership with the Workers United Working Families Party Staff Union, participating in the Joint Labor Management Committee and ensuring adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.This role is part of a collaborative department and works in close partnership with the Chief of Staff, Executive Projects Manager, Senior Advisor, and the staff of EpicWorks, our shared services provider, which manages essential HR, finance, and operational functions. Together, we provide our staff with the tools, support, and structure necessary to perform their roles effectively.
