Your Role:
As the Director of Accounting Reporting and Analytics, you will play a crucial role in generating reports and conducting data analysis to derive strategic insights from historical financial data. This position involves analyzing trends, identifying key drivers, and uncovering root causes. You will develop reports, automate reporting processes, and create dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
This position reports to the VP, Corporate Controller, and will serve as a key liaison among various departments including worldwide accounting reporting, FP&A, SEC reporting, Finance Systems, and Business Intelligence. You will also support the reporting and analytics needs of the Chief Accounting Officer. While some reporting and analytical outputs will be routine, a significant part of your role will involve project-based and ad-hoc tasks based on evolving reporting and data support requirements.
We seek an experienced professional with a solid understanding of accounting systems and outputs, such as Oracle ERP and other related reporting tools. You should be adept at producing detailed analyses from this output. Strong project management skills and the ability to transform complex financial data into visual narratives that enhance decision-making, risk management, and resource allocation are essential.
