The Position
The Engineering Team Leader will oversee the operations of a dynamic team, acting as the spokesperson for all team members. You will be responsible for managing team dynamics and facilitating the growth of each individual to ensure optimal performance and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small product team of 3-5 engineers (both backend and frontend).
- Dedicate 30% of your time to management tasks while actively participating in product development.
- Engage in the hiring process for your team and assist peers as necessary.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new engineers.
- As the representative for your team, manage team dynamics and nurture their best talents.
- Provide ongoing and constructive feedback.
- Support continuous team growth and take responsibility for each direct report's career development.
- Offer guidance and coaching to team members.
- Redefine how engineering work is executed with autonomous agents as the primary operational layer.
- Initiate and implement agentic workflows.
