About the Role:
We are on the lookout for our inaugural Graduate Software Engineers with a focus on either backend or mobile development to join our team. You will play a vital role in crafting reliable and user-friendly features that empower restaurant teams to excel. Collaborating with seasoned engineers, you'll contribute to backend systems that handle everything from financial transactions to real-time data management!
This position is tailored for recent graduates or those concluding their studies, eager to embark on their first full-time engineering career. You'll begin with well-defined tasks under the guidance of experienced colleagues, engage in code reviews, and enhance your skills in our development processes. From day one, you'll be involved in tangible product enhancements, gain insights from merchants to understand practical needs, and gradually take on more responsibilities as you develop your expertise.
Our Tech Stack includes Kotlin for both backend and mobile applications, all hosted in Google Cloud Platform with a PostgreSQL database.
What You'll Do:
Integrate yourself into our codebase and start contributing to backend features with support from senior engineers.
Tackle well-defined tasks, resolve bugs, create small endpoints, improve existing services, and gradually undertake larger projects.
Collaborate with experienced teammates during code reviews while learning our coding standards and best practices.
Write clean, maintainable code and become proficient in testing, version control, and our deployment processes.
Participate in merchant visits to observe how Tebi's solutions are utilized in real-world settings.
Embrace a learning mindset, ask questions, experiment safely, and develop into a confident backend engineer within a supportive environment.
What You’ll Bring:
A recent degree (or nearing completion) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A passion for software development and a desire to grow your skills in a dynamic environment.
Familiarity with Kotlin or any programming language, and a basic understanding of backend development concepts.
