The company is now looking for an Income Underwriting Manager to help manage and shape the underwriting portfolio.
Role Overview
This position sits within the Heinenoord Assuradeuren division. The Income Underwriting Manager will lead the underwriting policy for income products, develop and refine policies, and monitor the quality and performance of the underwriting portfolio. The role involves tracking portfolio development, analyzing returns, and making adjustments to maintain optimal results. Regular audits and compliance checks are also part of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update underwriting policies for income products
- Monitor portfolio quality and performance, making adjustments as needed
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and guidelines
- Oversee product quality through price checks and market analysis
- Identify market trends and translate insights into product improvements and proposals
- Document portfolio details for insurers and provide internal updates on developments
- Collaborate with insurers, occupational health services, retail, and corporate offices
- Act as a key advisor to colleagues and external partners, both online and in person
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and requests
This role blends subject matter expertise, analytical work, and stakeholder management. The manager will operate at the intersection of policy, portfolio management, and market trends, directly impacting the quality and results of the underwriting portfolio.
