Job Scope: Support the management team in the day-to-day operations of the store and oversee store activities in the absence of management.
Key Responsibilities:
· In the absence of management, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, handling end-of-day recovery, managing deliveries, overseeing stock, and cash reconciliation at day’s end.
· Delegate tasks to staff and ensure adherence to proper procedures.
· Ensure every customer receives a personalized and positive service experience.
· Possess comprehensive knowledge of our product catalog (www.elverys.ie) and current promotions.
· Engage with and understand our customers to recommend the best products for their needs and maximize sales.
· Lead by example in maintaining outstanding visual merchandising standards using all provided tools.
· Utilize all in-store tools including Assisted Selling, Safesize, e-receipts, and communication systems.
· Prepare and forward cash, stock, financial reports, and other administrative documents to the relevant personnel in the absence of management.
· Ensure smooth processes related to daily deliveries and stock management procedures.
· Guarantee that end-of-day recovery is completed thoroughly and in line with company standards.
· Perform various retail duties expected of all staff, such as sales, customer engagement, recovery, and deliveries.
