ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are seeking a dynamic Licensing Specialist who will play a crucial role in assisting both employed and contracted behavioral health practitioners in acquiring and maintaining their licensure and prescriptive authority. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented and resourceful individual who possesses experience in medical affairs, behavioral health, and telemedicine.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate the initial and renewal process for provider state licensing and medical licenses.
Conduct comprehensive research on state licensing requirements to ensure accuracy, thereby preventing any potential delays.
Communicate with providers regarding expiring licenses and assist them in the renewal process to ensure compliance with business needs.
Manage licensing applications efficiently, ensuring high quality and timeliness in processing.
Maintain proactive and transparent communication with business stakeholders regarding license statuses.
Monitor applications diligently to ensure there are no delays in licensing.
Ensure compliance with all state requirements for providers seeking licensure in new states.
Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years of experience in provider licensure, credentialing, or enrollment standards.
Experience with multi-state licensing is highly preferred.
