1. Team Leadership & Supervision:
Inspire your team by exemplifying outstanding customer service and upholding Sbarro's high standards for food quality and cleanliness.
Guide and oversee the team throughout shifts, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and the restaurant runs smoothly.
Delegate responsibilities to team members based on operational needs, ensuring comprehensive coverage across kitchen, service, and dining areas.
Offer assistance and support to team members, helping them navigate any challenges or questions that arise.
Evaluate employee performance during shifts and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Foster a vibrant, energetic atmosphere that encourages teamwork and motivates staff to achieve operational objectives.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
Greet every customer warmly and serve them in a friendly, professional manner.
Address customer complaints and issues promptly, striving to resolve concerns and uphold customer satisfaction.
Ensure that customer orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
Supervise the dining area to maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to Sbarro's standards.
3. Food Preparation & Safety:
Guarantee food is prepared in line with Sbarro's quality standards, ensuring consistency and service excellence.
Oversee kitchen staff to ensure all food is prepared and served according to food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, dining area, and restrooms, following sanitation and safety protocols diligently.
Monitor inventory levels, ensuring stock is maintained, and inform management when supplies are running low.
4. Cash Handling & Register Operations:
Manage cash registers, process transactions accurately, and ensure precise cash handling.
Ensure all payment processes are handled correctly and train team members in cash and electronic payment procedures.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and perform daily cash reconciliation at the close of each shift.
5. Training & Development:
Assist in the training and development of new team members, ensuring they understand their roles and Sbarro’s standards.
Provide continuous training and support to existing team members, keeping them informed about operational updates, new menu items, and company policies.
Encourage team members to enhance their skills and promote from within whenever feasible.
6. Operational Support:
Support management with opening and closing the restaurant, including securing premises, completing necessary paperwork, and preparing for the subsequent shift.
Ensure compliance with all operational and health regulations.
