Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory care and treatment to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and vital signs regularly.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred; travel experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques.
