Skilled Wound Care is hiring a Wound Care Physician in Tucson, AZ. This position focuses on improving outcomes for patients with chronic wounds in nursing facilities. Physicians from Surgery, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine backgrounds are welcome to apply.
What You Will Do
- Provide comprehensive wound care, including debridement, advanced dressings, and amniotic tissue applications
- Work directly in nursing facilities
- Apply the latest wound care techniques to support patient healing
Training and Development
- 36 hours of company-sponsored Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- Opportunities to attend conferences and workshops
- Access to online courses for ongoing learning
Compensation
- Full-time starting salary averages $250,000 to $300,000 annually
- Earning potential up to $400,000 with additional services and bonuses
- No earning cap
- Compensation per patient visit and per procedure
- Quarterly bonus opportunities (potential to increase income by up to 30%)
- Reimbursement for biological skin substitute applications
Work Environment
- No on-call requirements
- Collaborative scheduling with your team
- Custom software reduces administrative work and documentation time
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Residency completion and board certification are not required
