Key ResponsibilitiesDue Diligence Execution, Quality, and Risk AssessmentKYC/CDD Review: Carry out initial onboarding reviews and screenings, ensuring adherence to mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements as per internal guidelines. Documentation and Data Sourcing: Efficiently locate, extract, and accurately input data from various internal and external systems (e.g., Orbis, World Check, government registers) to complete client files. Case Ownership: Oversee individual caseloads throughout the entire process in a timely and organized manner, taking full responsibility for the approval journey of each file. Quality Adherence: Consistently deliver high standards of quality (RFT) in all submissions, actively incorporating feedback from reviewers responsible for quality checks. Risk Identification: Precisely identify and escalate potential red flags, risks, or complexities related to clients, documentation, or transaction activities to the Team Lead for assessment. Compliance: Ensure personal compliance with all operational and regulatory risk policies, including strict adherence to internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Financial Crime Prevention controls. Case-Level Input: Provide factual, case-level information during discussions to support decision-making processes.

Role overview
The Junior Onboarding Analyst position is based in Düsseldorf and follows a hybrid schedule (four days in the office, one day remote each week). Fluency in German is required. This entry-level role centers on onboarding new clients by conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) checks. The analyst manages a personal pipeline of onboarding cases, ensuring all documentation and verification steps align with current company policies and regulatory standards.
