Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Identify and assess risks associated with discretionary trading strategies. Work collaboratively with Quantitative Researchers and Traders on strategy analysis. Ensure adherence to risk allocations established by the Investment Committee. Conduct portfolio-level risk analysis and performance evaluation. Assist in constructing trade portfolios within the discretionary business. Contribute to the development of Squarepoint's risk management framework by enhancing processes and infrastructure. Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Physics); advanced degree is a plus. Up to 3 years of commercial experience, preferably at the graduate level. Demonstrated passion for Risk Management and a quantitative mindset. Able to collaborate effectively with trading teams, analysts, and quantitative professionals. Excellent communication skills with a global collaborative approach. Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
