Minimum Education Experience:A Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or civil engineering is required. Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a preference for residential focus. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for this role. Skills and Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders, including landowners, developers, local politicians, and consultants. Candidates must exhibit strong budgeting capabilities, sound judgment, problem-solving skills, negotiation proficiency, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, MS Project, OneDrive, SharePoint) is mandatory.

Job Summary:

As the Land Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of our residential communities by overseeing the acquisition and development of real estate properties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and acquire land suitable for community development in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and southern Sarasota counties.
  • Conduct regular Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) for potential properties.
  • Monitor inventory of excess lots available from other builders and developers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive property contact listings through diligent research and networking.
  • Perform project underwriting and draft letters of intent (LOIs).
  • Manage the evaluation and due diligence processes for properties under consideration.
  • Engage with sellers, engineers, planners, municipalities, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Prepare detailed land acquisition packages for corporate presentation and approval.
  • Assist in navigating the land entitlement process.
  • Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
