REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:Background in Electrical, Heating, or HVAC fields. Proficiency in computers and circuitry. A valid driver's license with a clean record. Must reside in the Boston Metro area. Ideal candidates should also possess:Strong multitasking abilities and effective time management skills. Natural initiative and adept problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership in their work. A positive attitude and computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and Google Docs/Sheets. Conversational Spanish is advantageous.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Building Controls Technician will play a pivotal role in installing and maintaining Runwise's control and sensor networks in both residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up Runwise control systems and internet connectivity.
  • Installing wired and wireless network sensors throughout various buildings.
  • Conducting tests on control and wireless network systems.
  • Understanding boiler room configurations and identifying components in both steam and hydronic systems.
  • Coordinating installation schedules with the team.
  • Maintaining and updating tracking systems for customer installation data, essential for technology, monitoring, and finance teams.
  • Managing parts inventory within the technician's service van.
  • Collaborating with field and associate technicians during installations.
