At zendbox, we have successfully developed a working AI Proof of Concept (PoC) that validates our innovative vision; now, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Software Engineer to architect and construct the robust engine that will power our AI-first . NET platform at scale.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our Head of Technology to transition our experimental scripts into a fully operational, observable, and scalable Agentic AI Architecture. Join our fast-paced team that embodies the mantra of 'Ship Fast, Fix Fast.' By leveraging advanced agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, you will eliminate boilerplate code and concentrate on solving high-impact architectural challenges necessary for a production-ready system.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Productionizing AI Workflows: Convert raw AI prompts and experimental logic into resilient production-grade code utilizing . NET 10/C# 14.
- Architecting Agentic Systems: Design and develop the 'Agent Loops' (Planning → Execution → Observation) to facilitate reliable interactions between our AI, internal databases, and external APIs.
- Ensuring Reliability: Implement 'Evals' and Guardrails to effectively manage the inherent non-deterministic nature of LLMs, guaranteeing safe, accurate, and consistent outputs for our users.
- Cloud Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with the Head of Technology to design and deploy the Azure/AWS infrastructure necessary to support high-concurrency AI workloads, with a focus on optimizing latency and cost-per-token.
- AI-First Tooling Leadership: Drive the adoption and refinement of AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to sustain our remarkable 10x velocity.
- Strategic Technical Evolution: Work together on the long-term technical roadmap, discerning the appropriate contexts for utilizing fine-tuned Small Language Models (SLMs) versus Frontier LLMs.
