Job Purpose:
The LV2 Field Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of actuators and associated equipment at customer sites, ensuring the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues, repair, and test actuators in the field, making modifications and upgrades as necessary.
- Perform inspections and health checks on Rotork actuators to guarantee optimal performance.
- Execute mechanical and electrical installations of actuators along with retrofit components, pedestals, and drive shafts.
- Generate high-quality site visit reports promptly and submit all expense claims and timesheets weekly.
- Conduct detailed site surveys to gather necessary information for manufacturing adaptation components for installations.
- Create and review risk assessments and method statements in accordance with site requirements.
- Deliver fundamental setup training to customers as required.
- Advocate for Rotork Site Services capabilities and identify potential business opportunities.
- Fulfill all health and safety training and documentation requirements, ensuring compliance with Rotork's health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and well-serviced company vehicle in line with the manufacturer's service schedule.
