Requirements:6-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or data strategy, with a minimum of 3 years in e-commerce, consulting, or omni-retail. Proficient in SQL, Python, and dashboarding tools (specifically Power BI). Experience in designing campaign tracking systems, funnel metrics, marketing attribution, and customer journey analytics. Strong commercial acumen—ability to approach problems as a category lead rather than just an analyst. Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of managing workstreams, stakeholders, tight deadlines, and making high-stakes decisions. Bonus: Familiarity with data science, machine learning models, or AI applications (preferably with prior experience in a business context).

We are seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence who will take charge of architecting and expanding our essential data systems that drive growth, enhance profitability, and accelerate business processes. This position transcends traditional dashboard management; you will be responsible for the BI framework that underpins our commercial strategies, campaign analytics, inventory optimization, and innovative use cases. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and significant impact for individuals who can work quickly, think strategically, and leverage data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Business Intelligence

  • Develop self-service dashboards for Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams utilizing Power BI, while monitoring real-time business performance and proactively notifying teams of any anomalies or shifts in trends.
  • Establish effective ROI frameworks for platforms, marketing campaigns, and pricing strategies to assess promotional effectiveness.

Advanced Analytics & Data Strategy

  • Define segmentation strategies, LTV models, buyer cohorts, and health indicators for the marketplace.
  • Execute funnel analysis throughout the app journey, from acquisition to repeat behavior and basket expansion.
  • Lead data science initiatives and collaborate with teams to develop models for forecasting, pricing elasticity, and churn indicators.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Engage with category heads, marketing leaders, and operations and product owners to transform business requirements into actionable analytics plans.
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams on instrumentation, tagging, event tracking, and experimentation on features.
  • Guide and mentor junior analysts in structured problem-solving, data storytelling, and best practices in tooling.

Business Outcomes

  • Enhance campaign ROI, customer reactivation rates, and platform conversion through actionable insights.
  • Shorten data turnaround times and foster the adoption of BI tools across various teams.
  • Advance MakroPRO's transition to a data-first culture, promoting proactive insight generation and operational integration.
