Mattel, a leader in innovative toys and experiences, is seeking a talented Manager of Data and Advanced Analytics to enhance our Product Quality Analytics team within the Global Quality organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and expanding a centralized analytics ecosystem that integrates data foundations, self-service reporting, and advanced analytics to facilitate informed decision-making across the Quality department.

As the Manager of Analytics, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and data science methodologies aimed at proactively identifying trends, minimizing risks, and enhancing product quality, safety, and consumer satisfaction. This position is crucial in establishing a premier analytics platform, nurturing team capabilities, and amplifying the organization’s capacity to provide actionable, forward-thinking insights.

Your Contribution:

  • Facilitating self-service reporting and interactive dashboards for stakeholders to make timely, informed decisions
  • Leading the development of advanced analytics, predictive models, and AI-driven insights to proactively address quality and safety challenges
  • Driving automation and analytical innovation to enhance efficiency and scalability of insights
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for Quality, Safety, Design, and Product Development partners
  • Building, mentoring, and nurturing a high-performing analytics team to achieve exceptional outcomes
