Qualifications
Responsibilities:Lead design projects for airborne munitions components and systems from concept to manufacturing, integration, and testing. Create 3D CAD models, drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and all necessary documentation for manufacturing and testing. Design and qualify energetic and pyrotechnic subsystems for defense applications. Provide technical documentation, including engineering calculations and analyses to support your design decisions. Manage suppliers and manufacturers, addressing technical inquiries and resolving issues during the manufacturing process. Select standard parts, fasteners, equipment, and consumables in line with industry best practices. Contribute to the DMU and configuration management efforts. Qualifications:Deep understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes in safety-critical areas or defense, including machining, sheet metal forming, composites, and additive manufacturing. Proven experience in designing and manufacturing warheads and munitions, particularly in SAU, ISD, and Fuzes. Proficiency in CAD and PLM tools, including part design, DWGs, and DMU management. Strong engineering fundamentals and analytical skills, including dimensioning calculations and basic stress calculations. Experience in Fuzing/SAU or ISD design for energetic systems is a significant advantage.
