A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is in search of a Mid-Level Structural Engineer specializing in Bridges and Transportation with over 4 years of experience in the analysis and design of both new and rehabilitated structures. This role is based in our Herndon, Virginia office, with potential opportunities in other locations.
In this pivotal position, you will exhibit strong design capabilities, oversee project tasks, mentor junior team members, and provide leadership on various highway (DOT) and pedestrian bridge projects, as well as retaining walls, load ratings, and other related structures. You will contribute to a diverse array of structural transportation projects for state departments, counties, municipalities, and private clients. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on projects in other states through our interoffice staff utilization program, enhancing your resume and professional network.
