About the job
About the Role
Schuberg Philis is searching for a Network Automation Engineer to join the team in Eindhoven. This role centers on building and maintaining high-availability, mission-critical network infrastructures that support private and hybrid cloud platforms. The position is part of a self-managing customer team, where engineers take full responsibility for the entire lifecycle: design, implementation, operation, and ongoing improvement. Automation is a core practice, not a one-off project.
What You Will Do
- Design, build, and evolve complex network infrastructures for on-premises, private cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Automate network and platform components using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Translate complex requirements into scalable, repeatable designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deep performance, stability, and security issues.
- Work on greenfield projects, from initial design through production and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during escalations and major changes.
- Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and help raise the technical standard within the team.
- Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and platform teams, focusing on technical solutions.
Who We’re Looking For
This position requires a Dutch-speaking engineer who thrives in environments where availability, stability, and automation are essential. The ideal candidate takes ownership beyond their immediate responsibilities, enjoys understanding complex systems, and is committed to delivering strong results. A willingness to take end-to-end responsibility, building today, implementing tomorrow, and driving continuous improvement, is key.
Location
This role is based in Eindhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands.
