Qualifications:A minimum of two years of outside sales experience, particularly with general contractors in distribution and industrial markets is preferred. Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems is required. A valid driver’s license is mandatory. A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, along with prior estimating experience in proposal generation is advantageous, but not mandatory if you are willing to learn.

Role Overview: New Construction Sales Representative

Overhead Door Company of Greensboro™, a DH Pace subsidiary, is hiring a New Construction Sales Representative based in Greensboro, North Carolina. This position focuses on commercial new construction sales, with an emphasis on commercial sectional and rolling doors, loading dock equipment, and high-speed doors. The role centers on building relationships with general contractors and introducing DH Pace’s products and services to commercial clients in Greensboro and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with general contractors in Greensboro and nearby regions.
  • Work directly with decision-makers to design door solutions tailored to their facilities.
  • Create detailed proposals and manage all phases from initial contact through closing; requires proficiency with Windows-based applications and sales tools, as well as familiarity with blueprints and plans.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals set by management, maintain records of sales leads and activities, and participate in sales meetings.
  • Prepare timely and accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Keep the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) updated with current information.
  • Complete additional related tasks as assigned.
