Position Overview:
The FIX NOC Specialist is tasked with configuring transport networks, encompassing Microwave, Optical, IP, and FIX Customers, while working in 24/7 shifts.
This role reports directly to the Manager of TXN/IP-NOC and collaborates with an extended team of 11 professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on expertise with Juniper, Huawei, Cisco (including SRX, ASA, Fortinet), and IP nodes.
- Conducting analyses of existing hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Designing and implementing scalable Juniper/Huawei networks as per client requirements.
- Testing and troubleshooting deployed Juniper/Huawei systems.
- Addressing technical issues related to networks, hardware, and software.
- Performing speed and security tests on installed networks.
- Implementing network security upgrades.
- Upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems as necessary.
- Engaging in proactive analysis and troubleshooting to identify root causes of recurring outages, supporting concerned teams for timely resolutions.
- Providing Level 2 network support to operational teams across the nation.
- Managing nationwide activities including rollouts, network deployment, and operations.
- Identifying and addressing network faults, ensuring follow-up until closure.
