Deliveroo is looking for an Operations Representative to join the Rider Onboarding and Compliance Team in Manchester. This team plays a key part in making sure new riders join smoothly and current riders remain compliant, supporting Deliveroo’s ability to meet customer demand with a dependable fleet. The position offers opportunities to build operational skills within a supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Guide applicants through each stage of the onboarding process, ensuring efficient progress.
- Manage onboarding flows to help reach weekly hiring targets, addressing any obstacles that arise.
- Support the launch of new markets, from the rider application page through to hiring milestones.
- Coordinate with vendors by assigning daily tasks and carrying out weekly quality checks to maintain productivity and standards.
- Escalate issues with suggested solutions and provide feedback to your manager.
- Handle a range of administrative duties as required.
Collaboration and reporting
This role reports to the Rider Onboarding and Compliance Team Lead(s) and works closely with both the Rider Operations and Compliance teams. The Operations Representative manages the full rider lifecycle, from onboarding new applicants to supporting compliance for existing riders. Responsibilities include managing compliance pipelines to reduce downtime and help Deliveroo meet local regulatory requirements.
Work environment
This is a full-time position based at Deliveroo’s main office in Manchester. The company follows a hybrid working policy: three days in the office and two days working remotely. Several shift patterns are available:
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work (one weekend every 6-8 weeks)
- Tuesday to Sunday
- Wednesday to Monday
- Thursday to Tuesday
- Friday to Wednesday
