Join daily-thread as a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and elevating customer satisfaction in our retail environment. You will be responsible for crafting an all-encompassing store strategy that reflects our core values and mission. Your operational duties will encompass managing opening and closing procedures, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compelling visual merchandising. As an integral part of the team, you will work collaboratively to meet store objectives and promote team development. Weekly hours will be adjusted to 32 or fewer based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed personal and store sales targets while inspiring your team and cultivating their sales capabilities.
  • Formulate and execute innovative sales strategies that boost revenue while delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining performance metrics.
  • Effectively gather and manage customer information, including contact details, to enhance service.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities by quickly identifying customer needs and addressing any concerns.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of merchandise, pricing structures, and store layout.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and visual merchandising to create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
  • Utilize various computer systems, including POS, CRM, and inventory management software, with proficiency.
  • Enforce inventory security protocols in alignment with the company's loss prevention policies.
  • Adhere to all operational policies and procedures for a seamless store operation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail management experience, ideally with at least 1 year in an Assistant Manager role.
  • A results-driven individual with a strong focus on sales and the ability to lead and mentor team members.
  • Possess a vibrant, energetic, and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to engage customers proactively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with customers and corporate partners.
  • Technologically savvy, with the ability to navigate retail POS systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, or moving items weighing up to 40 pounds and comfortable with ladders or stairs.
  • Proven track record in coaching and mentoring staff to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
