TransPerfect is seeking a Payroll Administrator for its Lisbon office. This role supports the end-to-end payroll process, working closely with both internal teams and external payroll providers. The position covers payroll data management, transaction oversight, and resolution of payroll-related questions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather and prepare payroll data to process transactions for new hires, departures, sick leave, and bonuses. Ensure timely submission to international payroll service providers by the monthly deadline.
  • Review monthly payroll files and confirm all required documentation is available for verification.
  • Monitor international payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and correct them before salary payments are processed.
  • Improve and manage international payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with international payroll service providers to implement process improvements and resolve procedural issues.
  • Update the HRIS (such as Workday) with pay changes before payroll deadlines, ensuring accurate communication to relevant teams.
  • Analyze and audit payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support international salary and bonus review processes, including preparation of related reports.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Accounts Payable on salary, tax, and social security payments, reconciling these with databases and prior payments.
  • Prepare and verify recalculated payrolls, ensuring correct information is sent to Finance for reconciliation.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and stakeholders, providing clear guidance.
  • Administer benefit plans, process related payroll changes based on provider information, and update benefits trackers.
  • Handle employee questions about benefits and resolve related issues.
  • Assist with international HR and payroll projects as needed.
