Power Electronics Intern (Fall 2026)

Join us for a twelve-week internship designed for current students enrolled in a four-year university.
As an intern, you will engage in challenging projects that contribute meaningfully to our mission. Many of our past interns have successfully designed and tested hardware and software that is now heading to space, and many have transitioned to full-time roles within Astranis.
If you have completed a four-year degree, we encourage you to apply for an Associate Engineer position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the power engineering team to construct and test flight hardware.
  • Develop test equipment to validate designs under various stressed conditions.
  • Create prototype circuits.
  • Assist in bringing up and debugging designs in the lab.
  • Write software to assess performance and automate satellite hardware testing.
  • Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental testing efforts.
