As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing systems that will operate in our new facility, ensuring a seamless and efficient manufacturing process.
Your key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing production systems for quoting, scheduling, procurement, machine operations, and material tracking.
Deploying code that powers operations directly on the factory floor.
Creating internal tools to enhance automation, planning, and inventory management across diverse alloy types.
Developing customer-facing applications for quoting, ordering, and order tracking.
Collaborating closely with operators and machinists to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions promptly.
Owning the technical infrastructure of our new factory from its inception.
Coordinating efforts with our software team in Detroit to ensure alignment across facilities.
