Qualifications

Several years of experience managing photovoltaic or wind energy plants or working within the renewable energy sector (required)Proficient knowledge in electrotechnics, automation, and/or medium voltage systems (MV/HTA)Strong skills in maintenance planning and schedulingExperience in managing contracts effectivelyYou are a pragmatic individual, skilled at prioritizing tasks and approaching challenges with composure and methodical thinking. A valid driver’s license is required, with approximately 4-8 site visits each month (no overnight stays necessary).

About the job

1. Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)

  • Oversee and direct all operational activities at your sites while ensuring compliance with:

    • The Group’s Golden Safety Rules

    • All regulatory and environmental standards

  • Collaborate closely with the HSSE department to implement and uphold effective safety protocols

  • Regularly monitor and update Performance Development Plans (PDPs) and procedures

2. Operations Management

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the power plant, including energy production billing

  • Evaluate performance metrics and manage budgets effectively

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior management review

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing plant efficiency

  • Organize and execute both preventive and corrective maintenance while overseeing spare parts inventory

  • Conduct on-site technical inspections (PV modules, electrical, and structural assessments)

  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts within the organization

  • Participate in on-call duties on a rotating schedule with other technicians (approximately one weekend per month)

3. Contract & Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure effective execution of operations-related contracts (maintenance, services, procurement, subcontractors) and monitor incident follow-ups

  • Engage in discussions with local authorities, partners, and community representatives to build positive relationships and support ongoing project development

  • Coordinate with insurance teams regarding claim reporting, resolution monitoring, and stakeholder communication

4. Performance Management

  • Track key operational indicators for your plants

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and deviations from targets

  • Suggest and implement corrective measures to meet performance goals

  • Ensure performance reporting is timely and accurate

  • Collaborate with Asset Managers to present and discuss results and variances
