Mission of the Role
As a Principal Engineer, Field Process at ASM, you will play a pivotal role in customer innovation, enhancing process excellence and facilitating the development of next-generation semiconductor technologies. You will collaborate directly with clients to optimize tool performance and tailor ASM solutions to their evolving requirements. This position serves as a crucial technical liaison, connecting customer teams with ASM's global expertise to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary on-site contact for customer process support, troubleshooting, and resolution escalation.
- Lead equipment qualification during installation start-up, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, timelines, and ASM budgetary constraints.
- Oversee and analyze tool performance throughout installation, start-up, and warranty phases, focusing on containment and sustainable solutions.
- Design and execute experiments with clients to support development, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Disseminate technical insights and lessons learned within ASM’s key account and Global Sales and Services teams.
- Engage effectively through phone, email, and presentations to maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Foster long-term customer relationships by anticipating future needs and delivering sustainable solutions.
- Continuously enhance customer experience through innovative practices.
