Role Overview
The Principal Enterprise Architect holds the highest technical and strategic position within our customer engagement framework. Acting as the 'North Star' for enterprise transformation, you will ensure the structural soundness of the Celonis platform while maximizing business value. Your role will connect intricate data engineering with C-suite strategic objectives, serving as the primary accountability point for the customer’s technical and value roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
- Architecture Design: Formulate the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for Celonis within the customer’s IT ecosystem, guaranteeing scalability, performance, and security across global implementations.
- Platform Governance: Define architectural principles, policies, and standards. Lead or consult on Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to ensure Celonis serves as a 'Clean Core' extension of the customer’s ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Modernization: Propel enterprise modernization by leveraging techniques such as capability mapping and architecting solutions with cutting-edge technologies (e.g., Agentic AI, Process Intelligence Graph).
- Integration Leadership: Design complex data pipelines (OCPM) and integration patterns (ETL/ELT, API ecosystems) that unify disparate systems into a cohesive Digital Twin of the business.
2. Strategic Value Engineering
- Executive Advisory: Confidently deliver technical designs and value realizations to CIOs, CFOs, and CTOs, aligning their strategic goals with Celonis' technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to outline the Celonis program roadmap.
- Resolve customer escalations by efficiently orchestrating internal teams in a timely manner.
- Internalize the customer's strategy and objectives, driving alignment in Celonis' delivery to support the customer in addressing business-critical challenges.
